Another night of familiar faces, good laughs, Cajun culture, and a whole lotta Louisiana love! 🎬⚜️ It’s been such an honor getting to capture these memories and see our community come together to support this amazing film!

I will be back behind the camera on the brown carpet to take your picture!

We have some notable cast members coming to catch The Fois that couldn't make the premiere.

WEDNESDAY: At the 6:30 show we have Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners in attendance as well as Travis Matte and the Kingpins and also Nonc Nu & Da Wild Matous! All have their music heavily featured in The Fois and Leroy plays the Deputy as well. You can come take a picture with them or get a poster signed while you catch The Fois.

THURSDAY: We have Cajun Mamas Koa Guidry Melancon Sarah O'Pry and Cory LeDoux coming as well as the Paranormal Operations Organization (P.O.O.) and Rachel Felder from Louisiana Girls who plays a swamp witch.
UPDATE: Nick Manning and Kristen Renton are coming too!

I had the absolute honor of being hired to photograph the Brown Carpet Premiere of THE FOIS, and with a sold out show-y’all showed OUT! What an incredible night celebrating this film and all the amazing people who helped bring it to life. 🎥👏🏽

Now, I don’t know everybody in these pictures, so I’m gonna need some Cajun community assistance. 😂

✨ FACES OF A LIFETIME ✨
Honoring the lives, stories, and beauty of our elders.

When I started Faces of a Lifetime, I wanted to do more than take pretty pictures. I wanted each resident to have a moment where the attention was completely on them — to get dressed up, have their hair and makeup done, step in front of my camera, and be reminded just how special they are.

For one day, they weren't defined by their age or by the walls of a nursing home.

They were our kings and queens. 👑

Watching their faces light up when they saw themselves is something I don't think I'll ever forget. Some smiled, some laughed, some couldn't believe it was really them — and those little moments are exactly why I wanted to do this.

As a photographer, I know a photograph can never tell someone's entire story. But it can preserve a piece of it. One day, these portraits may become some of the most treasured photographs their families have, and knowing that makes this project mean even more to me.

My heart is so incredibly full.

I hope when you look through these portraits, you don't just see their age.

I hope you see a lifetime. ❤️

Every participate will be hand delivered a framed print of their portrait.

Every resident who participated in Faces of a Lifetime was celebrated that day — whether you see their beautiful face here or not. 👑❤️

Today was one of those days I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. ❤️

My heart is SO full after spending the day bringing Faces of a Lifetime to life at Kaplan Healthcare Center. What started as an idea to honor our elders and remind them just how beautiful, important, and worthy of being celebrated they are turned into something even more special than I imagined.

Watching our kings and queens get their hair and makeup done, choose their looks, step in front of my camera, and then seeing their faces absolutely LIGHT UP when they saw themselves… there really aren’t words for it. 🥹👑

For a little while, it wasn’t about age, illness, or being in a nursing home- It was about them! Their beauty. Their personalities. Their stories. Their lives. And they deserved every second of it.

A HUGE thank you to Kaplan Healthcare Center for welcoming this project and allowing me the opportunity to love and celebrate your residents.

Thank you to Jamie Menard, Activity Director, for helping make all of this possible and for putting so much love into making today special for the residents. ❤️

Thank you to Resha Angelle Georgia, and Casey Richard Kibodeaux for working your magic on their hair, and to Haylie Kibodeaux for doing their makeup; helping each one feel extra beautiful and special. Y’all were such an important part of today!

And thank you to Corey Harrington with Neon Gator Entertainment for being there to capture some of the moments happening behind my camera. He filmed behind-the-scenes footage throughout the day for a possible small documentary about Faces of a Lifetime, which I’ll be sharing at a later date. 🎥❤️ I cannot wait for everyone to see the moments that photographs alone can’t tell.

But most of all, thank you to the residents for trusting me, laughing with me, sharing pieces of yourselves with me, and allowing me the privilege of photographing you.

Today reminded me exactly why I started this project.

These are more than portraits.

These are people who have lived entire lifetimes. They have loved, raised families, worked, sacrificed, laughed, cried, lost people, made memories, and have stories that deserve to be remembered.

Today, they were our KINGS & QUEENS. 👑

And seeing the joy on their faces when they saw themselves dressed up and being treated like royalty, filled my heart in a way I can’t explain.

I went there hoping to give them something special today, but I think they gave me just as much in return.

My heart is full. My cup is overflowing. And this is only the beginning. ❤️

Because sometimes the best memories are the ones that make you laugh years later.

I had the opportunity to share my heart behind Faces of a Lifetime on KBON 101.1FM thank you so so much for having me 🥹❤️📸

A project dedicated to honoring the stories, beauty, and legacy of our senior community through timeless portraits. This project was inspired by losing my dad at 18 and realizing how precious photographs truly are.

My goal is to honor the lives, stories, and beauty of our senior citizens by providing them with a royal-themed portrait experience and creating lasting memories for their families. Every smile, every wrinkle, every story deserves to be remembered.

I’m partnering with Kaplan Health Care Center to bring this vision to life, but I can’t do it alone. Once I have enough props a date can be set and the first session can be done 🥹 If you’d like to help, there are several ways you can support this project:
