Kicking off the senior class of ‘27 photos with Haley! It’s been so much fun watching this family friend grow into the smart, vibrant young lady she’s become. She asked for pics that were light, bright and full of flowers, and I think we hit the mark.

Focus on amphibians! I’m never sure what I’ll see when visiting the Parkville Wetlands. Today, in addition to the usual ducks, geese and herons, I was treated to sightings of some curious frogs, a water snake on the hunt and sunning turtles. 🐸 🐍 🐢 Parkville Parks & Recreation

Watch for the babies when visiting the Parkville Wetlands right now! This little painted turtle, maybe two inches across, was on the walking path and narrowly averted being stepped on by someone (yes, me) who was busy looking at the mallard ducklings. Fortunately, it made it safely across and hid in the brush. Parkville Parks & Recreation

This was such a wonderful event celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary and honoring the veterans who have protected our freedoms through the years. It was an honor to capture these photos.

Celebrating our seniors. Last but not least… Evan, Park Hill HS Class of 2026. As the official son of John Mink Photography, he (mostly) tolerated having a camera in his face whenever I needed to experiment with new photographic techniques or lighting setups. I’m thankful for the time we were able to spend together creating some fun shots, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for this young man. 🎓🎉
