When a pipe burst in my cousins' home just days before their family session, a quick Google search helped me find a nearby park and cafes as alternatives.
The day of our session, we opted for a cafe first because there was rain on the forecast. Of course, out of all the cafes I chose, this one had to be the most ridiculously busy, packed, and loud. Oof.
It also started sprinkling at this point so I knew we wouldn't make the other locations in time. Double oof.
Then I noticed a tiny patch of tall grass near the cafe, mentally ran through some potential images, and hoped for the best. So as our backup-backup plan, we had our session on the biggest patch of tall grass that parking lot had to offer.
It only took 15ish min for the rain to start pouring over us, but we STILL managed to get these shots. In a parking lot y'll 🤯
I used to say "location, location, location", but creativity (and strategic cropping haha) can do wonders! Thank you again to my cousins for trusting in me 😎
