We had the tiniest window before this Spring storm rolled in, but this sweet family made every second count.

These kiddos were full of personality, laughter, and so much love. Sessions like this remind me that perfection isn’t about the weather AND it’s about the connection. 🤍

The only male in this house... even the dogs are girls!

But honestly, this beautiful family made my job so easy. These gorgeous ladies brought the smiles, the personality, and all the Fall vibes. 🍂✨

And can we talk about this amazing day? Golden light, perfect weather, and everything I love most about my Fall sessions.

This is exactly why Fall will always be my favorite season for photos. 🤎

How is it possible that the little girl who grew up across the street from me is already graduating?! 😭❤️

Lilly is officially finishing up at St. Pius X High School and heading off to become a Arkansas Razorback girlie. ❤️🐗

And let me tell you… this senior session was SO Lilly.
High energy. Tons of ideas. Completely planned out. Girl knew EXACTLY what she wanted. 😂

We literally stayed out until DARK chasing the last little bits of light because neither of us wanted to stop. Every time I said, ‘Okay I think we got it,’ Lilly would hit me with, ‘WAIT… one more.’ 😂

Honestly though? I loved every second of it.

She’s sweet, funny, full of life, and has the super sweet parents. Watching kids from your own neighborhood grow up into amazing humans is such a weird and beautiful thing.

Also… her graduation party is TODAY so apparently I enjoy the adrenaline rush of posting at the absolute last second. 😂

So proud of you, Lilly. Arkansas is lucky to get you. ❤️

Some kids are just built different… and Johnathan is one of them.

Graduating from Liberty High School as co-valedictorian, recruited by the University of Wyoming to play football, and somehow also excelling in baseball, AND basketball. Oh… and receiving Outstanding Male Athlete too.

Like seriously… what more can this kid do? 😂

I’ve known Johnathan since he was little, and honestly none of this surprises me. He’s always had an incredible work ethic, stayed humble, and has the kind of parents that raised him the right way. Just genuinely good people.

These are the kinds of seniors that make you walk away from a session thinking, ‘Yep… this kid is going to do big things.’

So proud of you, Johnathan. Wyoming is getting an amazing athlete — but even more importantly, an amazing human. 🤎💛

MIZ...

Future nurse. MIZZOU bound. And somehow still smiling while we were absolutely freezing downtown.

I’ve known this girl since the day she was born, which honestly makes posting these feel a little emotional. Watching your friends’ kids grow up and become amazing humans is wild.

But let me tell you - she came PREPARED for this session.

We ran all over downtown like maniacs trying to beat the cold, catch the light, and hit every spot on her list. And Kelly? She never complained once (well maybe a few times but it was sooo cold). Meanwhile I’m pretty sure I lost feeling in my hands halfway through. 😂

So proud of you, Kel. MIZZOU is getting a good one. 💛

Still trying to figure out how Abel managed to give main character energy in the middle of downtown KC during First Fridays + the Chappell Roan concert chaos. 😂

The streets were packed, people everywhere, traffic insane… and somehow this kid just stepped into every shot like he was born for the stage.

Honestly one of the nicest seniors ever and his theater background absolutely showed during this session. Every pose, every expression, every little moment felt effortless.

Abel - I love how you know exactly what you want to do. Go out and do every little thing you planned!

Now excuse me while I finally post these before you actually graduate. 😅

There’s something special about families you’ve photographed year after year 🤍

This crew holds such a special place in my heart. After so many sessions together, I feel like I’m part of the family. I've watched this little lady grow up in front of my lens.

These are the moments that remind me why I picked up a camera in the first place. So grateful for families like this 🫶

Another summer session I absolutely loved ☀️

I’m not sure who had more fun... me or them. From the laughter to the quiet in-between moments, every second was pure joy. The love this family shares is something you can feel instantly… and honestly, I can’t even put it into words.

So thankful I was given the chance to photograph them and capture a small piece of their beautiful story 🤍📷

Hillcrest Hope - A transitional living program focused on helping unhoused people in the Northland of Kansas City see their own potential and do the work it takes to achieve a secure, independent life.

Hillcrest opened their new office last June. This was their ribbon cutting ceremony. It was a fun little event for a great cause. If you are looking to volunteer or donate, I would highly recommend this organization.
