Happy Valentine’s to my favorite person!!

We were chatting this morning how this business wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for him. It all started a few months after being married and he encouraged me to take an online photography course. That course led to a bunch more (from his encouragement!) and now here we are! He continues to be the biggest supporter and an even better husband! Love that we get to go through life together! 🥰

We have some big changes happening this next year that we are super excited about and now seems a good time to share! 🤩

Our business is shifting and we will no longer be shooting weddings this next year. Instead, I will be focusing my time on being a full-time private photo editor! I do plan on doing a few branding and portrait sessions, but these will be very limited, so reach out if you’re interested!

We have loved being part of each one of our couples lives and the friendships formed, but we’re super excited for this change and the new opportunities it presents! And if you’ve seen from stories, you know Grant’s been doing a lot more with the aviation side of things, and I’m excited for him to have more time to devote to that! So if you see planes or a crazy dune buggy in our stories that’s why. 😆

We still have two more weddings to finish out our season, so you’ll see us sharing those, but then we will be done!🤩

Also, we need updated photos because this session is from our anniversary three years ago! 😜

Throwing the feed off a little, but it’s our 5 year anniversary today!! 😍

We had one heck of a rustic wedding and we don’t even like that look! 😂 But when you plan a wedding in 12 days you just go with whatever you can find and there was plenty of woods around. 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

Our wedding was down on his grandparent’s farm on their grass runway and it was a beautiful, June evening! We had major thunderstorms all day, but late that afternoon it cleared up and was sunny. Right before the ceremony the clouds came providing the perfect shade to all of our guests. Then as we were saying our vows the sun peaked through and was absolutely perfect! We still have friends who bring that up as being the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever witnessed.😍 We agree but we are slightly biased. 😉

Marriage with Grant has been the best and I am so thankful God brought us together!

I love you, Grant!! I can’t wait for many more years and adventures with you! 😘

We're celebrating one year of running our business FULL-TIME! A year ago at this time we had just finished working our last shift on the ambulance after 12 years of being in EMS. That's a long time to work in one field and then to get out and do something completely different! But, we're so happy we did!! ⁣
⁣
Want to know one, of many things, we love about being out of EMS? It's getting to sleep every night together and there's no tones going off to rudely awaken us. You all, sleep is amazing and does wonders for the body! 😉⁣

There are certain aspects of EMS that we do miss though and probably always will, but we're so thankful to give this business more of our attention, and to dream of other things we want to do and achieve. ⁣
⁣
We do want to take this time and also thank each and every one of you who has invested in our business! Without YOU we wouldn't have been able to make this dream happen and we're so thankful you trusted us with your big days, your big life moments, and for all you photographers who trusted me to edit your photos! Seriously, you all are what makes this business happen and we couldn't do it without you all! So THANK YOU!😍

We don't always do maternity sessions, but when we do and the images turn out looking like this, it makes me want to do more!!😍 We had the best light and so much fun with this family! Don't mind me as I ride this little high of an amazing session with some new friends! 🤩
