I've been going back through all of my sessions and weddings from this year to see what I have forgotten to share and guys, THERE IS SO MUCH!

When life gets busy, something has to give. I'm not going to let it be my babies, I'm not going to let it be my clients, so it just usually ends up being this platform right here. Oops!

I'm pretty sure my baby is cutting her first tooth 🥹 so here's a sweet moment from K & J's engagement session while I'm trapped cuddling a usually-happy-but-now-angsty child.

Location listed as Kansas City for friends who want to shoot soon and are looking around! This session took place just outside of Nashville TN.

My love for albums is reeeeal. This girl picks up our wedding album often; she points out all her aunts, uncles and grandparents. She doesn't even realize yet that this book is a window into the family that she changed with her birth. She gets to see a little bit of what we were like before her!!

It warms my heart and I just feel so lucky that we have so much love in our family.

As a wedding & newborn photographer, I don't typically get to choose every detail of what I'm shooting. Even if I'm styling the shot, the bride or the mama are usually making decisions on what the things are in front of me! So when I get the chance to photograph really lovely things that I would have chosen anyway, like these gorg floral designs from , I get so excited. My gratitude overflows for the other people in this industry committed to bringing the beauty out in everything.

Thinking a lot about humility + confidence this week because I'm realizing that the more humbled I become, the more confidence I have. And this is not confidence in my own self or my own ability, but it is so much stronger than that. It is confidence in my Maker, who puts power and love and direction in my heart. It's trust and it's faithfulness.
