Long Post...

One of my goals this summer was to ask families to let me photograph them at home... in their element... just living life.

When I look back at my own childhood photos, the images that stop me in my tracks aren't the perfectly posed ones. They're the ones of my family simply being together. Playing outside. Making breakfast. Laughing in the living room. Those are the photos that bring back the feelings, the smells, the sounds... the memories.

Don't get me wrong—I absolutely love a beautiful, posed portrait. They have their place, and they're important too. But there's something so special about documenting the in-between moments. The slow mornings. The messy kitchens. The backyard adventures. The cuddles on the couch. The moments that seem ordinary today but become priceless years from now.

These sessions have reminded me that life isn't about creating the perfect post. It's about creating a life you'll want to remember.

I have so many more of these sessions to share (and yes... I'll definitely be posting them 😅), but more than anything, I hope they inspire you to slow down, be present, and embrace the beautiful chaos of this season of life.

Because one day, these will be the photos your children look back on... and they'll remember exactly how it felt to be home. ❤️
