There are some sessions that stay with you forever.

I had the honor of photographing a One Day to Remember session for an incredible mom who is courageously facing Stage IV Metastatic Breast cancer. This session wasn’t just about taking photos. It was about preserving love, laughter, and the moments that matter most.

It was such an honor to be a small part of this sweet family’s day. For a little while, they were able to step away from the stress of everyday life, slow down, and simply enjoy being together🤍

Meet your photographer!🤍

It’s been a year since the last time I did this so hello!! I’m Makenna Huskey! I’m a photographer based in Kansas City, Mo.
I have been doing photography since 2019 and fall in love with it more and more each session🤍 I loveee a good candid and lifestyle session!!

When I’m not at a session, I’m working as a preschool teacher helping little minds grow🌱 or at home with my boyfriend Austin, my daughter, Isla and my son, Luca! We have two dogs, Jay and Bonita. And two cats, Lola and Rosie! I loveee reading (send me all the book recs) and doing all things arts and crafts! One of my favorite things about photography is getting to meet new people and create amazing relationships with my clients! My main goal is to make sure you feel relaxed, confident have fun and get great in the moment pictures🤍
