This very overdue love bomb goes out to one of our favorite little stinkers, Melodee Spady Melodee Cares Melodee Spady. 💗

Besides always being amazing in front of the camera, Melodee brings exactly the right amount of ornery and sass to every session. At this point, the Lora Devine MUA -and-Melodee sass-off is practically included in the package, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

Also…how old were you when you first learned that ornery was actually spelled “ornery”? Because I was embarrassingly old when a group of Southern ladies finally schooled me. But I digress…

Melodee, we love you and are so excited for your year as the 2026 National American Miss Nebraska Jr. Teen! 👑 And because apparently winning the crown wasn’t enough, she also took home the Photogenic win with one of her Devine Studios images. We’re not saying we’re surprised… 😉📸

Congratulations to S. Jones Syriah (Managed by Salimah) Jones on being named the Junior Photogenic winner in the International Miss Org. photo contest! 💕

We had the pleasure of working with Syriah while she was serving as a UNM national queen, and she and her mom were an absolute joy from the moment they arrived. Syriah is poised, sweet, and so much fun to photograph. She also has one of the most memorable and adorable laughs we have ever heard. If there were a Laughogenic award, she would have our vote for that too! 😂

We are so happy to see this image recognized and excited for all the opportunities this win brings her at International Miss 2027.

We’ve had the privilege of photographing beautiful Chloe Ann for the past five or six years, and looking back at one of her very first sessions with us makes it hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. Swipe to see the sweetest little throwback!

Watching Chloe grow from that adorable little girl into the poised and beautiful young woman she is today has been so special. She and her wonderful mom have always been incredibly kind, loyal and supportive of us, and clients like them are such a big part of why we love what we do.

I had been thinking about building a cyclorama wall for more than a decade. Not because it was going to transform our studio into some enormous dream space, but because I knew it would give us more freedom in how we create, and more possibilities for every client who steps in front of our camera.

Last year, I finally decided it was time.

I was told the project probably should have taken around three weeks with a couple of people. But with Lora Devine MUA leaving to work at Ideal Miss and several shoots coming up, I convinced myself I could finish it before she returned.

Lucas (our son) helped me hold a board or two through some of the more difficult early stages, and eight very long days later, it was finished.

I’m proud of what we built, although I also learned a difficult lesson about pushing too hard. I worked through far more pain than I should have and ended up dealing with wrist and forearm tendonitis for nearly six months. The wall was absolutely worth building, but hurting myself to finish it that quickly wasn’t.

Today, it gives us room for more movement, cleaner full-length images, larger compositions and ideas we simply couldn’t create in the studio before.

Every improvement we make here has the same purpose: to keep expanding what we can create and give our clients the best experience and images possible. I’m excited to see what else we make in the studio in the years ahead. 🤍

We currently have a few openings remaining in late September and throughout October. If you’ve been thinking about creating something with us, we’d love to have you in the studio.
