If you’re a kindle reader there’s a book I’d like you to get to read for free this weekend! It’s called Stories From The Salty River by HD Davies. The cover is a photo I took at Hillsdale Lake early one foggy morning. The author saw this photo and bought the rights to use as his cover. Ghost story with twists and turns, a good read !

The 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day November 11, 1918, which ended World War 1, was honored with the remembrance poppies being illuminated onto the Liberty Memorial in KC. They showed a short video onto the wall and the whole crowd fell silent to watch. Pretty neat to witness......

The Wild Goose Chase Gravel Grinder was held October 26, 2018. The 50 and 80 mile course ran from Sumner, Missouri (home of the worlds largest goose statue- Maxie) to Brunswick, Missouri (home of the worlds largest Pecan statue). Congratulations to all of the riders, sponsors, and organizers! This was the 2nd annual event and was a success!
