Here are a couple photos I shot yesterday. My buddy Joe came out and helped me tackle some land management and cleanup on our property that I just didn't have the equipment for.

Joe showed up with his truck and gear and knocked it out like it was nothing. Hard worker, does it right, and just a genuinely solid dude to have as a friend!

Jay's my fishing buddy up here in KC. Solid dude, the kind who'll tell you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear. Not a lot of guys will actually call you out when you need it. Jay will, he wants me to take good care of me and he loves me through it.

So shooting his wedding to Remmy? That one meant something!

July in the Midwest is always a coin flip, this day rolled hot, like stand in the shade or melt hot. We just kept moving and kept shooting. You can't fake the way they look at each other. I loved getting to be part of this day with them.

Recently Directed and shot "Landfill Poetry," the new music video for , out now on Oh Boy Records !

This was my first time working with Riley Downing and Oh Boy Records, we shot the whole thing in one afternoon in and around Holt, MO, his hometown, revisiting the places and people that shaped him. Big thanks to Terry at Red Gate Disposal for hosting us.

Riley put it best: "This song is about finding the beautiful things buried in the wreckage, and I wanted the video to feel like home."

I stepped away from shooting weddings specifically a few years ago, but I was more than happy to make an exception for the wonderful Butler couple. It’s a completely different experience getting to document a day like this when the people on the other side of the camera are people who genuinely mean a lot to you. It was such a beautiful day, and I’m incredibly grateful they trusted me to capture it. Congratulations, Butlers! It was an absolute joy to be a part of your wedding day.

Jay and Remmy this summer!
I had such a great time capturing these two ahead of their wedding. Remmy, your joy is contagious, and Jay, between you and me, you get bonus points for loving to fish almost as much as I do. These two are just easy to be around, and even easier to root for. Can't wait to see what God has in store for this marriage. Congratulations, you two!

Some couples remind you that love, at its truest, is not a rush of emotion but a quiet decision made over and over again. Ryan and Ashley make it look like the easiest thing in the world. Engagement season to summer wedding. I’m along for every beautiful mile of it.
