Senior season is rolling right along with Cade from Blue Valley Northwest High School, Class of 2027! 🎓

Cade was awesome to work with tonight. Like most of my senior guys, he was there because Mom wanted senior photos (and he may have been bribed with dinner, I hope the thin crust pepperoni/bacon pizza was fantastic!). Before long, though, he was laughing and admitted it "wasn't that bad." That might have to become my new slogan: "Senior photos for boys... not that bad." 😂

All jokes aside, one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to meet seniors from all over the area and capture this exciting milestone before they head into their final year of high school. I promised Cade we'd make the session fun, and I'd say we accomplished that. From spiking footballs like Gronk to climbing trees and talking about his plans to attend law school, Cade absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Good luck on the football field this fall, Cade, and enjoy every moment of your senior year. Wishing you an incredible senior year!

I was so excited to get Parker's sneak peek posted that I completely forgot to share the rest of the Porter family session!

We started the evening updating family photos at the beautiful Tri County Rod & Gun Club. The Porters were incredibly welcoming and even took my husband and me all around the property to help scout the perfect locations. Between the gorgeous scenery, amazing weather, plenty of laughter, and maybe a Monty Python quote or two, it was such a fun evening.

As fellow Gorilla grads, Ann & I couldn't resist giving my Emporia State husband a hard time while sharing all the Pittsburg must-stops Parker will need to visit when he heads off to college. Sessions like these are a reminder that photography is about so much more than photos—it's about the stories, connections, and memories made along the way.

Thank you, Porter family, for such a wonderful evening!

Kicking off senior season with Parker, Basehor High School Class of 2027! 🎓

Parker was such a great guy to spend an evening with and so much fun to photograph. Like many senior guys, he made it clear that senior photos were mostly for Mom—but we made sure he had a little fun with them too!

One of the coolest things about Parker is that he started the trap team at Basehor. How awesome is that? It's always inspiring to meet seniors who leave their mark and create opportunities for others.

Best of luck to Parker and his teammates as they head to Wichita for State Trap this week. We're cheering you on!

Some wedding days come with sunshine, and some come with rain. Joe & Tori's day was filled with showers from start to finish, but not even the weather could dim the joy, love, and celebration that surrounded them.
