I know, I know. You're probably thinking "I thought you did Day in the Life documentary sessions?" Well, you'd be right, but I LOVE photographing families so
much and thought it would be fun to open up my books for portrait sessions from time to time. I've done this with a few of my friends and we all had a blast. It really showed in the portraits that we made from the sessions.
The process is really easy. I provide the space and all you have to do is show up and be you. Just have fun, clown around, and I'll document it all with my camera.
We'll make some memories and some portraits!

I shot a day in the life for years ago. I think about that day when I look back on these images. I remember it well, but now from a mother’s perspective I see something differently. As a parent, I feel the importance of these images. When our families change over time, we want to remember “when” and “who” and “how” so much more than we realize. When we photograph we are not only making images, we really are building time machines. 😘
