I got to witness this super sweet proposal over the weekend and it was one for the books! We had to work around lightning, thunder, rain, and in some areas the family said they were seeing hail! But what transpired was Alex surprising Mariah with the proposal, then he had their family and friends show up to surprise her too!! :) How sweet was that?!! It turned out to be such a fun afternoon and the weather cleared just in time for us to get some great photos :) CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN ALEX & MARIAH!!!!

I got to photograph this lovely couple's wedding recently. It has been an honor to watch Kelsey grow in to the amazing woman she is today and also find her life partner who is the sweetest man. They create such beautiful space for each other to be themselves and it's so great to document that.

I wanted to share some good news with you all :) I submitted a few more images into a judging contest and received Bronze Awards for these images. The Bronze award means it's rated at a Professional Photographer level against my peers :)

This program allows you to submit a lot of different categories so for fun I submitted a wedding/engagement one just to see how it would do. :) Pretty happy with the result since those photos were taken in 60mph winds and a tornado on it's way haha.

I have a lot of amazing photos to share from their engagement session but I wanted to share this one first. Tonya Pesch, Justin and I all went out to Monument Rocks Chalk Pyramids Kansas a little while ago and made memories to tell everyone for a long time. ;)

There's nothing quite like taking photos in 40-60mph winds, tornado warnings and sand storms hahaha. I'd do it again if it meant I get to spend time with these two though :)
