Hey guys!
I want to start by saying thank you for your patience with me. I know I’ve been pretty MIA. Slow, or not responding to messages, emails, everything. and I wanted to share a little bit of why.
Over the past couple of months, I was diagnosed with a rare brain disease called anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis.
What followed was 27 days in the hospital, time in the ICU, being intubated and a lot of psychiatric symptoms that were honestly terrifying. For me, but mostly for my family. There were moments where we truly didn’t know if I was going to make it.
It also took weeks to get a diagnosis, which made everything even more confusing and intense.
The hardest part is… I don’t remember most of it.
The video I’m sharing is made up of conversations that happened during that time, many of which were told back to me later.
But the good news is: I’m here. I’m recovering. And I’m doing okay. ❤️🩹
Because of everything, we’re now facing about $800,000 in medical expenses. So I’m doing something a little different for the month of May.
I’ll be hosting mini sessions at Shawnee Mission Park from May 13th- 30th:
• 20-minute sessions
• 15 edited images
• Minimum $200 (pay what you can / donate what you’d like)
