A mindful and present trip-

My husband and I wanted to focus on getting away from the busy hustle and bustle. Alys Beach was so perfect for this. Every day consisted of us grabbing a healthy breakfast, coffee for Ky and a tea for me, and we went straight to the beach where we walked along, swam, sat in the warm sun, or journaled. We started a journal together to write in and addressed it to our little girl. We still haven’t came up with a name for her yet, but I know it will be a good one once we do.

Recently, Ky and I visited Florida and we stopped in Seaside, Florida. The architecture of the buildings there were so beautiful, there was lots of white buildings with hints of subtle colors. I couldn’t help but to stop and capture this cute little chapel we passed by. 🤍

Short of words to describe the feelings l’ve been feeling the past couple of weeks, as the day we get to meet our little girl is approaching fast. (Actually crying as I’m writing this haha) So much excitement, awe, unknown, peace, rawness, growing love as the veil gets thinner. Becoming a mother, a growing family. Entering this new chapter with you with grateful open hearts.

May we spend less time on the image we want to portray, and more time on the person we actually are. Less time on our masks, and more time on our mindsets. Less time on our costumes, and more time on our character. The shallow status the world aims for is far too easy to obtain. May we, as the children of God, have the strength to raise the standard. May we have the boldness to disrupt the masquerade. May we have the courage to be who we really are.

Missing Italy.

My mom was an incredible woman who possessed a strong work ethic, always putting in her best effort in everything she did. She was determined and dedicated, never shying away from hard work or challenges. Her commitment to providing for her family was unwavering, and she did everything in her power to ensure a comfortable life for us.

Kindness was a defining trait of my mom's character. She had a heart full of compassion and empathy, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness extended not only to us but also to our friends, neighbors, and even strangers. She had a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others, and her acts of kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Beyond her admirable qualities, my mom was undeniably beautiful, both inside and out. Her physical appearance was captivating, but her true beauty radiated from her loving and caring nature. Her inner beauty shone through her actions, her words, and the way she treated others. People were drawn to her warmth and grace, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel special and loved.

Above all, my mom's love for us three girls was immeasurable. She would go to great lengths to ensure our happiness and well-being. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and she would sacrifice her own needs and desires to fulfill those of others. Her love was unconditional, and she was their biggest supporter, cheerleader, and confidante.

Happy 2 years in heaven to the most beautiful soul I’ve ever encountered. I miss you so much selfishly, but I know you’re comfortable and in the most peaceful place I can imagine, heaven. I can’t wait to one day see you again outside of my dreams. 🤍
