Is it really a Missouri family session if you’re not racing against a huge storm rolling in? This session was so incredibly sweet because I used to teach their youngest in preschool. They are all so sweet and fun to take photos with. They have the best attitudes (even with a dreary day) and always come in with a huge smile! ❤️

Hot take: cocktail hour is NOT my favorite thing to capture. However, after this sweet reception my mind might be changed. Why is cocktail hour important to capture? It has all your loved ones gathered together in one space enjoying each other’s company. This is the opportunity to take photos of the guests you invited, and you get to see how happy they are to celebrate YOU! How fun is that?!
