I’ve always had a thing for where metal and nature. Cadillactus is the perfect intersection of these two things: industrial art and desert flora.🌵⚙️ Located in Palm Springs, CA.

Have a metal sculpture photo? Please share as I'd love to see it!

Hoverflies are loving the blooming balloon flowers. Nothing beats capturing these tiny critters in the garden. Backyard adventuring at its finest:)

➡️Fun fact: Hoverflies are the second most important pollinators after bees, visiting 72% of food crops worldwide.

Have you spotted any hoverflies in your garden this season? 👇

Ever stop and look inside a flower? There’s a whole world in there...if you get close enough to look. Captured here is a blooming petunia. The lavender and pinks are on point. 👌

📚 Fun fact: Did you know that in the Victorian era, gifting someone petunias was considered an insult? They carried the message “I don’t like you.” Thankfully that meaning is long forgotten. 😂

What’s your favorite flower? Drop it below 👇

You don't need to travel far to find something worth photographing.

Took the dog out for a walk this morning and came home with these. Bullfrogs barely blinking as we passed, turtles soaking up the sun...just a regular neighborhood pond doing extraordinary things.

Sometimes the best light is right around the corner.

Somewhere your mom, your friend, or honestly even you, is staring at a blank wall and sighing. Nobody's saying anything. But everyone's sighing.

We have the cure.

Nature prints, this Saturday at Hammerhand Coffee. Come end the sighing and liven up those walls!

Snuck in a few shots of this flower crab spider, tucked quietly away. The last photo shows just how small they are.

They don’t spin webs. Instead, they sit and wait, blending in and ambushing pollinators that stop by in search of food. Some can even slowly change color over time to match their surroundings.

Not everything in nature is meant to be seen right away. Some things only reveal themselves when you slow down.

Will you take a minute to slow down today, or keep walking past it?

Happy Wednesday!

There’s a different kind of beauty when you strip away the color. Just the work, the texture, and the moment. A pollinator doing what it does best. Happy Saturday!

Spring is here, which is always fun as the plants start to grow. Our Hosta is no exception. Before it opens up, the leaves stay tightly rolled, and after a little rain, they hold onto droplets almost perfectly.

It’s one of those details that’s easy to walk past, but worth slowing down for.

Those are usually the moments I’m drawn to capture.

Happy Saturday!
