🦩 So I started a vlog earlier this year. Doing so was inspired by . I never posted it because my goal was to have 5 episodes produced as a good starting point. Although I technically did get 5 done, right at that time many changes and adjustments needed to be made in my life and things to figure out so I never posted them.

🦩 As I have gone through a heavy growth period, I revisited these vlog episodes and realized I put a lot of work and time into them. I am proud of the progress I have made and looking forward to the future of my creative abilities.

🦩 How’s that for some clickbait? But in all seriousness, Let me explain. In years past individuals were able to take their camera and film themselves throughout the day and put some edits throughout and post them. It was a decent way to grow a YouTube channel as well as gather content for other social media outlets.

Fast forward to today and short form video is king along with value packed medium to long form content (5+ minutes). Gone are the days of randomly filming yourself and your life and posting it.

Vlogging is still relevant and interesting for many creators, you just need to focus your vlogging efforts in a short form style and make sure you have a point to your content. Make sure it informs, educates, and/or entertains.

🦩 The phrase “do what you love and you will never work a day in your life” is actually 🐮💩

🦩 Even if you are doing what you love, your gonna put in a lot of work and will even get frustrated at times.

🦩But like being out of shape or physically fit, they are both hard and can really suck! BUT one is gonna be more beneficial and fulfilling to you, right?

🦩 It is the same with working. You can do work that you don’t enjoy with limited fulfillment or you can do work that you really enjoy with lots of fulfillment.

🦩 Doing what you love/enjoy and doing what you don’t, come with challenges and both come with a reason to get up everyday and do more of it again… Why would you not do the thing that brings you more of what you want and less of what you don’t???

🦩 Notice I did NOT say just make and post…if you are ever wondering how much effort to put in without hindering your progress, that’s it — make it your best. Put some time and effort in, but at some point you need to just put it out there.

🦩See you may have a vision for something you are documenting/creating. You may desire for it to look, sound, or read a certain way.

🦩 Shoot for that vision, always! But if your pursuit of that vision is keeping your work from the people it is meant to help, serve, entertain, educate, and inspire, that’s a problem.

🦩 Your gift is not being utilized the way it was meant to be. Perfection is really a form of selfishness.

🦩 Stop being so worried about who might not appreciate or connect with what you have to offer, and give your perspective to those who have been waiting to receive it!

🦩 Sometimes you just have to create your own opportunities.

🦩 I have been blessed with a talented, thoughtful, and beautiful family.

🦩 Our daughter has expressed an interest in modeling and acting. She’s already very involved with cheerleading and dancing.

🦩 In an effort to pursue opportunities for modeling and acting, we asked a few people that we are familiar with and trust, if they could steer us in the right direction to get started.

🦩 We were referred to the agency . Wendy and her team have been super easy to work with.

🦩 Now apparently because of COVID concerns, companies prefer working with talent that comes from the same circle or bubble to prevent the spread 🦠. This is the perfect situation to get myself and Queen Killa involved as well.

🦩 Audition opportunities have started coming in, so we will see what happens from here 🙌🏽🤞🏽.

🦩so I walked by the mirror in our restroom and thought 🧠 💭 ‘hmm, I’m diggin my outfit and my hair is looking kinda dope, so I think imma take a selfie’ 👕😎🤳

🦩 in comes my son Lewis, who was wondering what I was doing 🤔

🦩 he don’t never miss a chance to get his photo taken, so he climbed right up on the sink

🦩I put the focus on him and told him to smile 😁 with that mouth full of teeth he got

🦩 he then realized that he had two ‘boo-boos’ on his forehead 🤕 from when his twin brother Mack threw a spiky massage ball at him a few days prior

🦩 he covered his forehead up quick, but I said to him “you still looks like a stud” and snapped another pic 📸

🦩 my kids drive me up the wall all the damn time 😫😵‍💫😮‍💨 but they just as often come to kick it with their dad and we share cool moments that are priceless 🤗☺️😇…I Am Blessed!!
