I see a lot of new faces around here, so I thought it was a good time for an introduction! (or re-introduction 😊)
My name is Amber Rose and I am the Owner and Principal Photographer of Nineteen Eighty-Nine Photography.
I reside in North Kansas City, I’m a dog mom 🐾 and I LOVE my job! Photography is something I’ve always enjoyed (I was recently teased at a family event for carrying a Polaroid in my purse!) I nearly always had small digital camera with me throughout high school to take candid photos of my friends and to be able to capture memories before cellphones had quality cameras 😉 My true passion, however, started in 2013 when my mom gifted me my first DSLR. I shot my first wedding 2 years later and since then I’ve captured some incredible memories for my clients, friends and family. I’ve met couples in their dating years who are now allowing me to create lasting visual memories for their beautiful families. I truly am so grateful for my clients, some of whom have become lifelong friends! I tailor my sessions to fit your vision and I’m always up for a new adventure! (Including standing on a rock in a creek with snakes for a portrait session, looking at you Mary-Margaret 😉)
