Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has anything interesting going on their lives since the first of the year. I know we have clients nursing new babies and clients having children with milestones birthday coming up! Spring is coming up and I can't wait to see flowers and trees blooming!
I have been working on a project the last week on improving in portrait style portraits. I have submitted a portrait and am excited to share with you my progress. There is a "Whittling Committee" and a "guest picker" to select images out of thousands of portraits to be in the top 52 selection. I am into 5 weeks of my new journey and was selected for their black and white submissions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 💥💥

I have many wishes and blessings to send to so many people in the community and faith for such a great outcome for you all. There are so many things to be grateful for 2022!

💏My spouse, family, and our dogs!

💖My health and the health of our family! Butch and I made it through the year without COVID or the Flu! If you know us from 2021 it was a ruff year from the passing of my dad, Butch hospitalized for COVID and me having COVID at the same time at home.

💛All of our friends who inspire, love and have been encouraging and uplifting in our good times and through our challenges as we grow.

🫂All the wonderful people around the globe 🌍 I got to know through work, by business, church, and Facebook education groups.

📸Creating unforgettable moments behind the scenes and behind the camera!

👊One of the things I knocked out of my burdens was having right hand surgery around the first of October. It was a set back for me since I am right handed. I have learned that each time you reach the top of a hill, you've also just reached the base of the next one to climb. I have recovered well. The photograph I have posted here is climbing up the mountain and not by myself. My husband carried my camera bag, helped me set up my tripod, and gave me strength to still use my mind and creativity!

As a photographer I have had a ear to listen to clients in need of something, a story, a journey, or a burden.

Example:

A child that is 9 years old mom is dying of terminal cancer and they haven't had their photograph taken.

A mom pregnant, getting COVID, having a baby boy, her husband was sick and she gave birth without him and spent New Years in the hospital.

The point is we have 365 days and 365 chances to grow, learn, live, give, love, forgive, encourage, explore, pray, be grateful, and LISTEN!

May 2023 bring you joy, happiness, strength, photographic memories, health, prosperity, friendships, and wealth. Wishing you and your family a HAPPY NEW YEAR!✨🌞🌝

Good Morning Everyone, The magic of Christmas and the reason for the season began in the studio with Zara and Zain. Zara is 7 and Zain is 3. Zara is now able to reach the top of the small tree to top the tree with the STAR and Zain is old enough to experience what a snow globe is. We shook up the globe and played the Christmas music from it and talked about Santa inside! You can see the JOY it brought them.... The Hag family kids!

Another happy STAR! He was so cute trying to place the Star on the top of the tree. His shirt kept raising up. We choose to just pose for this one with a big SMILE!! I loved hearing about dinosaurs with him. Children can make you laugh when you are not expecting it!
