We will for sure have in studio minis (I will post that info hopefully by the end of the week as I’m waiting for one more thing to come in to finish it up), but I haven’t got enough interest for outdoor minis, so with that being said, I am willing to rent out my friends greenhouse again if I can get 4 people interested (pics below of the setup). I know we did these last year, so I understand if you want something different.
I’m going to be honest…. Even though front porch swing minis were my 1st idea, we have some serious landscaping/yard work that needs to be done and some work on my swing , and it just won’t be done anytime soon (please remember it cost alot in time and money to prepare for minis). I am so sorry if I let any of you down with that idea.
This is our first year homeschooling, and even though I am absolutely loving it like so dang much, it is taking all my time and energy as we are trying to navigate it along with my daughter’s sports schedule. I know our 2nd year will run smoother as we will have things all figured out!
Also, this field/business has become overly saturated, so it’s hard coming up with new, fresh ideas right now and a lot of the spots I have used in the past have become known or have been torn down/under construction. Because of my teaching jobs taking up so much of my time these past several years, I had to put my photography on the back burner, so now, it almost feels like I am having to start over, which honestly sucks.
With that being said, my goal is to make our property my newest location for all the things. Hear me out…. I have big, huge ideas and have for a long time, and I think it’s time to get to work on those ideas. My husband better get ready…
My plan is to grow my business on our farm. I want to build a bigger greenhouse at some point, have a field of my own filled with grass, flowers, and add some hidden gems. I want to offer more pond sessions with my row boat, plant cedar trees that are accessible to get to (we have a beautiful patch already, but we have to take trails to get to them), grow my studio space, have an even bigger flower patch next summer, etc.
Of course none of these things will happen over night, it takes time, planning, hard work, and money. But just know that I am trying to grow and expand and offer my clients more options and ideas. So lmk below if you want a greenhouse date, and I’ll work on getting that info out this week if I get enough interest. In studio minis will have plenty of time slots throughout the course of a week (all morning appointment to get that light).
Anyways, I am completely booked for the reminder of the year, except for minis or if you have talked to me about a session (I jotted your names down so just get with me). It’s just a busy time for us right now.
So please hang in there with me as I try to get things rolling as I try to expand and grow and have something so beautiful and personal to offer you all,hopefully in the near future.
