Merry Christmas!! 🎄
I am so thankful for the families that I was able to support & document their birth story. It's always such an honor to be invited into such a sacred time, thank you, THANK YOU!! 🥺❤️

This year has been my slowest and not gonna lie I've been in a bit of a funk about it, but up rooting a business you've worked so hard on & moving half way across the country where you know no one, making connections and getting your name out is challenging & scary. But what I can say is I am AMAZED by the overflowing of love and welcoming I've felt from the birth worker community here in Kansas City, the friendships I have made have been everything I prayed & hoped for with this move.

2023 will be an exciting year of welcoming our fourth baby into the world and being able to document the beautiful moments as some of you welcome your baby into the work too. ❤️

An unmedicated, vaginal twin birth.

This mama reached out to me a few days before she had to go in for her induction. She felt like she'd regret not having these moments documented! At most hospitals a vaginal twin birth has to be done in the OR, in case of an emergency where a C-section would be needed. Unfortunately, even after the parents and several nurses fought for me to be there, I was not allowed. A heaven sent nurse who had some free time took my camera on auto and snapped some great photos. # 7- #9. SO appreciated!! This mama was absolutely amazing, birthing not one but two sweet boys into this world!! 🤩
