We were able to catch the last of this sunset in downtown KCMO and it was perfect. 🌇 Oooooof. Something about those colors is so magical.
PS we totally got kicked out of this parking garage right after these shots. 😅 I did not know we couldn’t be there haha

I loooove lived-in wedding photography 🤍 Like, yeah, we appreciate a spotless, untouched shot of the food served at your reception, but I really love how documentary-style photography shows how much people ✨enjoyed✨ the food. Ya know?

I also love a posed moment! The bottom two shots here were purposefully laid out.

The bride’s grandpa used his well-loved Bible when he officiated the ceremony. He set it down afterwards for family photos and I love that I got to capture its well worn pages and dog eared corners. 🫶🏼

I only moved things around a few inches for this shot. I just love it.

Don’t know why, but I love photographing the cake after it’s been cut into. 😅

I’ve got a love-hate relationship with mirrors. 🪞 They are beautiful and I love how creative we can get with them, I’m always showing up in them! Luckily, Adobe’s Generative AI tool makes it so much easier to edit myself out of photos, but it still takes a lot of time to edit so many. 😅

I didn’t even deliver the last photo in the reel, partly because AI in Lightroom wasn’t doing a great job at taking me out without changing the subjects of the photo and I ultimately because I felt it wasn’t a strong enough photo to deliver.

I captured a daddy long-legs today and released it outside because my grandma was about to kill it and it made me feel cool like this senior I got to photograph this grad season! This dude was just picking up bugs everywhere during his senior photos and it felt so on brand for him. 😅 I love getting to take photos that embody my clients’ hobbies and likes!
