August highlights! Such an amazing month. It was a very smokey August but the fireweed had a beautiful bloom. This month also had some good rain storms near the end. It's a great example of how Glacier is beautiful no matter what weather it provides.

Also something really special about this month was all of the star photos I got to do! I will probably do another post at the end of the season of just the star photos. I am so grateful for the opportunities I got and definitely took advantage trying to hone in those skills.

As some of you know I have a very specific style for star portraits I am trying to create and each session is bringing me closer and closer as I try different techniques with different lighting (moon phases, seasons, flashes, etc).

I can't wait to post more (probably in October) but for now it's back on the editing grind 🎉🎉

These last couple nights have been insane 😭 getting the aurora with the milky way has been a goal of mine that I never expected to come true so quickly. Then to have it two nights in a row! 🤯🥹 I am so beyond grateful for the opportunity and in absolute aww of of this beautiful world.

These were all edited in Lightroom aside from one that I used generative expand to extend the borders. Can you guess which one it is?

I am so excited for all of these spring weddings!
This was sunrise in west glacier, where I accidentally got soaked in the river. Then we went to the falls, where D+J got soaked 😅 thankfully it was a sunny day and they had a 4x4. We went to a sunny hill with beautiful views and quickly dried off. They loved the spot so much they decided to exchange vows.
Then we went to Pray lake and enjoyed the huge mountains and lake.

Absolutely incredible day!
I say that a lot, but they are!
We w/ the first look and some pictures with the horses (I photoshopped the fence out)
Then we went to a big waterfall!
Then a ceremony underneath running eagle falls. The bridge wasn't up yet but water levels are very low right now so we walked across the river.
I got the best moose photo ever!
Then a picnic in st..Mary and star photos.
I attempted my first night photo where they look at the camera, eyes open, and they are in focus 🎉

V+K had a beautiful wedding! It was so unique because west glacier had beautiful blue sky but crazy wind and then east glacier was a blizzard. It's the first time I have drive from many glacier to west glacier and back all before sunset. We saw 3 moose! 1 bear, elk, and lots of other animals as well.
