This MF cannot tell wood from metal.

The WPA (Waterfowl Production Area) where I was visiting these owls is closed for a few months to protect the nesting birds, which I am all for, but I do miss seeing and photographing these GHOs. I’ll hopefully see them again in July!

My daughter turns 15 in a few days. Fun fact, in Montana kids get their drivers license at 15. What does this have to do with this image? Well, it encapsulates this experience… powerful and free (her, the eagle) terrified and helpless (that’s me, the fish). Over dramatic? Absolutely. But then again….
