October 12, 1969 Bruce McLaren driving a McLaren M8B/Chevrolet ( #4) leads team mate Denny Hulme in another McLaren M8B/Chevrolet and Jo Siffert in a Porsche 917PZ through turn 9 during the Can Am race at Laguna Seca . McLaren won the race with Hulme second and Siffert fifth one lap back.
