Michigan in late summer is glorious and whoever had the idea to plant a giant field of sunflowers for us to run around in deserves an award.

What do you do when it's supposed to be a golden hour beach shoot, but it rained all day and the clouds are so thick we can't see the sun? We still play - still hug and laugh - swig a few beers - make the best of it and enjoy the special kind of silly that only comes out around family. Perfect.
