Hi, I’m Alleigh 🤍

Wedding photographer, recent bride, and the heart behind Alleigh Somers Photography.

If you’ve been around for a while, you may notice a name change! After years of building this business under my maiden name, I recently stepped into this next chapter with a new beautiful website, a meaningful refined brand, and a new last name.

More than anything, though, this season has given me a deeper understanding of what weddings truly mean.

As a 2025 bride, I understand the emotional weight of a wedding day in an entirely new way— the anticipation throughout the planning process, the quiet in-between moments, and just how quickly the day passes by.

That perspective shapes the way I photograph weddings today.

My goal is never just to create beautiful images. I want my couples to feel fully present in their day — cared for, comfortable, celebrated, and genuinely able to soak it all in knowing they have someone in their corner throughout the entire process.

And while the new last name may be new around here, becoming a Somers has been one of the sweetest chapters of my life. My husband, Heath, has supported this business from day one, which makes stepping into this next season feel even more meaningful.

Over the last several months Emily & I have been working on what “Alleigh Somers Photography” was going to be, how it would make potential couples feel, and create a legacy for both me and my couples.

Now, in just a few short days, on my first wedding anniversary, my new website will be live! But until then, please enjoy a little sneak peek into what’s to come!

From beginning to end, Nick & Reilly’s wedding day was one I’ll never forget. Every part of the day felt so intentional — filled with meaningful moments, endless laughter, and so much love from the people surrounding them.

And once the dance floor opened… let’s just say this group knew how to celebrate — from Taylor Swift to Guns N’ Roses, the moves were endless!

What an absolute honor it was to document such a beautiful day and witness the start of this next chapter for these two. Wishing the Lavins a lifetime filled with the same joy, love, and energy that surrounded them all weekend long. 🤍

Forever a drooling over pretty wedding shoes ✨🕊️

: These are actually my wedding shoes! I had been on the hunt for a special pair of designer shoes for my big day & while originally I wanted a pair from , they ended up selling out, never to be found again. But one day while scrolling on Pinterest I found these ’s and after spending days doing Google reverse image searching, someone on had them in my size! A true match made in heaven 💛

T H A N K F U L F O R C O M M U N I T Y 💛

Last week I hosted my first Friendsgiving, and six of my beautiful friends came together for a delicious meal, wonderful conversations, and the kind of laughter that feels like medicine, especially during this extremely busy season!

I’ve shared pieces of this journey before — how much I’ve longed for community and how hard the last 6 years have been trying to build it without success.

These women made the wait worth it. They’re the ones I look to for guidance, motivation, a yummy recipe, a good laugh & so much more. They’ve poured into me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed, and my cup has been overflowing these past few months.

For that, I am forever grateful for each & every one of them 🤍
