The smallest moments often become the treasured memories. A cold foam design, a stop to smell the treat, or a fancy tray of treats can tell a story words never could. Those are the moments still worth capturing.

🌸 Choosing Your Wedding Flowers: More Than Just Pretty Blooms 🌸
Wedding flowers have been part of celebrations for centuries, dating back to ancient Greece and Rome, where flowers symbolized love, fertility, and new beginnings. Today, they remain one of the most personal details of a wedding day, helping tell your unique story through color, texture, and meaning.
When choosing your wedding flowers, think beyond what's trending. Consider the season, your venue, your color palette, and flowers that hold special meaning to you and your partner. Peonies symbolize romance, roses represent love, and baby's breath reflects everlasting affection.
The best wedding florals aren't always the most expensive—they're the ones that feel like you. Whether you dream of lush garden bouquets, wildflower arrangements, or simple greenery, your flowers should complement your day and your personality.
After all, long after the petals fade, the memories—and the photographs—will keep their beauty blooming forever. 💐✨

I believe everyone deserves beautiful photographs, regardless of budget. Whether you're planning a small wedding, elopement, community event, branding session, or special celebration, I focus on creating an experience that feels relaxed, authentic, and personal.
📷 I capture real moments over perfect poses.
💛 I work with clients to create packages that fit their needs.
🌿 I embrace the beautifully imperfect moments that tell your story.
✨ I approach every session with creativity, intention, and heart.
My goal isn't just to deliver photos—it's to create images that bring you right back to the feeling of the moment every time you look at them.
If you're looking for a photographer who values connection, authenticity, and storytelling, I'd love to be part of your next event.

🎉 Did You Know? The Kalamazoo Do-Dah Parade Has Been Making People Laugh Since 1984! 🎉
What started as a playful rebellion against traditional, "stuffy" parades has become one of Kalamazoo's most beloved annual traditions. The Do-Dah Parade was created in 1984 by organizers at WKMI radio as a way for local businesses, organizations, and community members to showcase their creativity through satire, humor, and pure silliness. It was inspired by the original Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena, California, and was designed to be the exact opposite of a formal parade.
For more than 40 years, downtown Kalamazoo has come alive with outrageous costumes, clever spoofs, themed floats, and unforgettable characters. What makes Do-Dah special is that there are no strict rules about being serious—participants are encouraged to be funny, imaginative, and completely unexpected.
Today, the parade continues to draw thousands of spectators each year and remains a celebration of community spirit, local pride, and the wonderfully weird side of Kalamazoo. Whether you're marching, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, you're taking part in a tradition that has kept our city smiling for over four decades.
✨ Here's to keeping Kalamazoo creative, quirky, and full of laughter!

For as long as Ive known about National Donut Day I have wanted to do a photo session with donuts.
But did you know:
National Donut Day is a U.S. celebration held each year on the first Friday of June, created in 1938 by The Salvation Army to honor the Donut Lassies—women volunteers who served donuts to American soldiers on the front lines during World War I.

It began both as a fundraiser during the Great Depression and as a tribute to the volunteers who boosted troop morale with fresh donuts made in makeshift huts near the front lines. Today, the holiday continues as a mix of charitable tradition and sweet celebration, with many donut shops offering free treats and communities recognizing veterans and service members.
