Traveling the wilder roads of life to capture the beauty and uniqueness of the world around us. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I like taking them.

A native of the Hoosier state (Indiana that is) but I call Michigan home. I've always been a nature girl and farming has been in our family since before we crossed the pond. Summers were spent on my grandparent's farm with my cousins and has some of my best memories. My love for travel, exploring , and photography has led me to create this page and start my photography business.

This is such a cute little church but it seems it is no longer being used. The tower at the top has exposed boards. But maybe it is being renovated. I'm not exactly sure where this one is other than in the Bellaire to East Jordan area near the top of Michigan's mitten. I would love to find this one again to see if there is any improvements made.

I was only there for a brief time since the campground was full, but it is such a beautiful place to be no matter how long you're there.

A former church still standing grand on a country road corner. Its windows and doors may be boarded up but it still looks great to me.

What started as a rainbow over Lake Huron turned into an amazing storm cloud. We came for the rocks but stayed for this sight.

Happy Friday! I hope you all have a great weekend. Here is a pastoral scene from Indiana. I took this while traveling the backroads to Michigan. I so wanted to make friends with the horses but they said 'neigh'.

1919 - At Rest

Such a beautiful building in this northern Indiana cemetery. I was driving the backroads as I typically do when I came across this place. I always glance as I drive by to see if there are any interesting structures. I could see something in the back area, and it was enough to make me turn around and check this place out. And I got lucky with a nice evening glow coming out of the cloud filled sky. I'm so glad I turned around that day.

Everytime I pass by this farm I admire their blue and white quilt on the red barn, the red wood silo, and the huge grain bins. It's always good to see a working farm with these old barns.

This former home sits alone but is surrounded by summer's wildflowers. Making this place look so pretty especially with the glow of the afternoon sun shining upon this land.
