A different perspective✨

One of my favorite things about wedding days is getting to capture not only the big moments, but the full story. Seeing a venue from above reminds me just how much intention goes into creating a beautiful space for people to gather, celebrate, and begin a new chapter.

After 16 amazing months, I’m closing the doors of Selah Studios.

What began as a dream quickly became a place where so many beautiful moments were celebrated.

From baby showers and bridal showers to intimate wedding ceremonies, countless photography sessions, and the many photographers who made this space their creative home, this studio was filled with life, joy, and purpose.

As I reflect on this journey, I can honestly say I don’t regret trying. Not for a second.

Building Selah taught me so much about business, faith, risk, and trusting myself. While this chapter didn’t unfold the way I originally envisioned, I’m proud that I took the leap and gave this dream a chance. Some dreams are meant for a lifetime, and some are meant for a season.

And what a beautiful season this was.

For now, it’s time to close this chapter and focus on where life + business is leading next. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to never say never. I still love this dream, and maybe one day, in a different season, it’ll look different and find its way back.

To every person who rented the studio, celebrated a milestone here, captured memories within these walls, or simply cheered me on from afar, thank you.

Here’s to the memories made, the lessons learned, and the next chapter ahead. ✨
