Hey! I’m Kayla.

It’s been a while and with my new branding done, it’s a perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’ve grown a lot over the past 4 years, but my “why” has never changed.

I’m here to capture the right now. To freeze the moments you’ll look back on and still feel deeply, even decades from now.

I lean towards photos that are soft, natural and colorful. I want your gallery to feel as warm and 𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓋𝑒 as the memories themselves.

When this soon to be mama booked with me she was so grateful I included a questionnaire and that got me thinking… other photographers don’t do this?!

I put so much effort in getting to know my clients as best as I can to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible and to create the best experience for them.

I just love the 3 month stage. Everyone’s found their rhythm and I get to capture their actual personality.

The newborn phase is such a blur. It’s wayyy more demanding than anything you expected. But then they smile and reach for you and you just forget you haven’t slept in days.

She booked a session as a bday present to herself and I just love that 🥰

Just their family, doing what they love, at their favorite place.

It’s going to be the gift that keeps on giving. Her kids will be able to look back on these and remember how fun and beautiful this night was.

If you’re the mom who just wants to capture their kids in their element, you’re the mom for me.

She wanted a shoot that felt like them. So they brought their dog, fishing poles, bathing suits and just played.

This session was different.

I found this fern forest on a run and instantly envisioned a pregnant mama.

Just her, bare with no distractions.

Some locations just call for simplicity and this was one of them.

And turning that vision into reality felt really damn good.

My tagline is “for the cool, calm and chaotic” for a reason.

I knew I’d hit it off with this family when mama told me they were a goofy, chaotic crew and had nightly dance parties. We were laughing the entire time!

My biggest goal is to have your kids remembering your session as a good time where they could be themselves. That’s what it’s all about, right?

Mama’s, these moments come and go so fast. It’s worth remembering.
