I keep coming back to this day and how timeless it truly feels, the way the light brought such a softness to the elegant colors and details of the Mansion.

I love when weddings are held in historic places that carry so many stories of their own. There’s something so romantic about celebrating a new love story in a place that feels like an ode to all the love stories that have come before.

One of my fav parts of a wedding day is the dance floor, and when it’s done right, it can become one of the most memorable parts of the entire day.

All the major events are done, you’ve married your person, and now you get to just let loose, be fully yourself, and celebrate with all of your favorite people.

And one of my favorite ways to bring a dance floor to life? If there isn’t a live band, adding a saxophonist or violinist to the floor. There’s just something about live music mixed in with a DJ that knows how to bring the dance floor alive that brings a whole different energy to the night.

Still one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done.

With Collin and Elizabeth it was just like hanging with two old friends going fishing and hitting the local dive bar for burgers and a game of pool.

When it comes to engagement or couples shoots I love bringing their story into frame and making it feel like looking back on stills of their own movie.

For the Lehtios, every element was intentional, not just to create something beautiful, but to create an atmosphere their guests could step into. From the layered tablescapes and rich florals to the textures and Western heritage woven throughout, each detail became part of the story of the weekend.

I don’t share family sessions often, but this one was too special not to.

From spontaneously dancing in the kitchen, where they’re always making memories, to quiet moments in the backyard of their home, every part of this session felt effortless and true to this season of their lives.

These first few weeks with their son have been so intimate, and it was such an honor to organically document this chapter for the Sylvestros.
