I often hear sea lions before seeing them 🩵

Their distinct sounds carry across the water and eventually your eye finds the whole gathering tucked against the shoreline!

The mountains may be still, the water almost glassy, and then there is this noisy little world unfolding at the edge of it all.

Just another reminder that there is always more happening out here than you can see at first glance 💕

Throughout the year, I visit Mendenhall Glacier and hike the beautiful trails in the area. I love how crisp the air is coming off the glacier, checking for salmon and every once in a while, seeing black bears 🐻 🖤 What a beautiful place to visit and enjoy ✨
