Sobell Photography

Sobell Photography Photographer that works hard to get the perfect picture of the intended target I grew up preferring to be behind the camera rather than in front of one.

My love for photography developed at a young age after acquiring two Nikon cameras from a teacher at Cros-Lex Community Schools where I grew up [Lexington, Michigan]. I decided to pursue my passion in a more serious manner after my fiancée (now wife) surprised me with a wedding gift of the Canon T2i that I currently use. Nature and wildlife are my favorite things to capture through a lens, which m

akes sense because of my love of camping and the outdoors. After meeting my now wife, I began to dabble in capturing more action shots, especially those of barrel racing. I’ll admit; it’s quite the adrenaline rush to take those types of shots. Lastly, I love to take pictures of people. I love capturing the looks of love, of growth, of passion, of life. It reminds me that there is truly good in the world. There’s this great feeling that I get as an artist when someone truly loves a photograph of him/herself that I took; it is a feeling that is hard to describe. In my spare time, I volunteer in the community as a project leader in the Litchfield 4-Clover 4-H Club where I teach youth about the dog project and the photography project. I live in Jonesville with my wife - Nikki, and our five Australian Cattle Dogs - Mae, Bo, Emma, Ronan and Riley.
