Me and bear got to put a couple on the tailgate tonight. #3 for him. Sure am proud of him. Almost gave up on the little fella. He has aggrevated me more than any dog ive ever owned. He has not shown any interest in tracking or hunting in general. He is more hard headed than my wife. I decided to get him out one day after I decided to retire my old dog and give him one last run. It was almost like he knew I was down in the dumps looking at my old dog in the pen knowing her time tracking was done. I drug a deer leg like always thinking well if he finds it good if not guess he can be a biscuit dog. Dropped him on it and ran it like never before. And since then will tear your arm off trying to hunt when you let him out to track. We still have to argue from time to time when I let him out. But seems his whole attitude changed from that day on. I've always been told dogs have a 6th sense. Guess I got to experience it first hand.
