Congratulations to this couple I photographed back in July. The weather was sunny with only a few drops of rain right at the end of the day. The sun created amazong photo opportunities with flowers and golden sun beams. We also had a little stop at Bo Jangles for some dinner after the wedding and before Bride and Groom photos. Fall family photo sessions are an absolute favorite of mine. The beautiful foliage displaying tons of colors. The sun during golden hour adding that magical touch to things. Just creates a gorgeous backdrop for photos.

Back in July I was able to photograph a birth 😁 this is something I had never done before. My mother is a midwife and I've helped her with some births but never photographed one. It was so beautiful! The lighting was a little darker then I'm used to but it created a soft warm glow that just set the mood for the birth. Linnea Christine you were so strong and incredible, thank you for the honor of photographing such an intimate and precious moment while you worked to bring a little one into this world.

I'm a little late on posting these, but here's to a beautiful couple Mr. & Mrs. Owenby! Your wedding was beautiful. The weather was threatening to be stormy all day but God blessed us with beautiful sunshine for the majority of the day. I loved this house that the brides family had as their Airbnb, it provided the perfect backdrop to the day.

This past snow storm I convinced my husband to drive out in the snow to this bridge. Because it was a state park and not main roads nothing was plowed and we slid around a little 😬. We set the tripod up, and these are a few that I got. I'm so glad we went and braved the storm. I love these photos of us. I'm so used to being behind the camera, so it was interesting figuring out how to pose myself lol.
