And the final callback Halloween set, my favorite Halloween shoot, The Black Wedding. I loved how this set with .maria.wilk and .cutz turned out, from the idea to editing some of the photos to resemble old timey sepia toned portraits to give them an antique, atmospheric look and feel.

Thanks for joining me on this is walk down memory lane. I hope that some time soon I'll be able to get out and do more Halloween, or gothic inspired shoots.

A nice weekend at Camp Crystal Lake turned into a nightmare for 5 unsuspecting counselors.

This was a lot of work to put together but it was as a hell of a lot of fun to shoot and edit. I've only done a couple group shoots because the logistics are tough, but the outcome was amazing! was a rock star again in putting together the group and making the tshirts for everyone. Apologies to anyone I missed tagging as it's been quite some time.

Today's look back is a shoot I did that was based on one of my favorite songs by Godsmack, Vampires. I would have included it in the post but apparently Instagram no longer has access to the library of songs it once did.

I digress. This is another of those sets where I had a concept and a location and I just gave the model, in this instance , the idea and she knocked it out of the park! Couldn't have been happier with the results of this set!

One of the styles I love to do for Halloween shoots is the gothic look. Dark filters, dark colors, almost monochrome, just giving the photos a haunting, ominous feeling. I just gave the idea for what I wanted to do, and she came with all the different props which then promoted a lot of different ideas during the shoot. This was another fun shoot that I think resulted in a great finished set.

It's been a while since I did a shoot (over a year now), but Halloween was always one of my favorite time of year to shoot. I worked with a lot of amazing people over the years. I figured I would share a few photos from a few of my favorite Halloween shoots. This was one of my first shoots where I dedicated time specifically to Halloween photography, and Emily was one of the best people to work with here. She knew exactly what I was going for and our shoots were always spot on.

I miss shooting, I miss working with people, especially my regulars. Hopefully I'll get back to it, but there's only so much time and it seems like my days and weeks are filled up with many other things right now.
