Alexandra Ibarra knocked her penalty kick attempt, Oswego's fifth, off the left post and in, Plainfield North's fifth attempt hit the crossbar, and the Panthers won 1-0 in PKs in a showdown of Southwest Prairie Conference leaders to clinch at least a share of the league title.

Yorkville sophomore pitcher Bella Rosauer and her counterpart, Oswego senior Jaelynn Anthony, worked out of multiple jams with stellar relief as the two Southwest Prairie Conference leaders played into extra innings, the game suspended in the 12th due to darkness.
