Hi! It's me, the woman behind the camera.

Today is Mini Session Day so I thought I would hop on and share a little about me for all those who don't know.

First off, my name is Brittany Louise. I'm a stay-at-home mama of two, a loving wife, and a serial entrepreneur. My kids are my world, my husband is my best friend, and I always have a new business opportunity in my head.

I am a world traveler, I'm always looking at different places to visit and budgeting for a trip. Although I absolutely love to travel to other countries, I have been sticking within the USA for the past few years. My Dad took me to many states growing up, but I never realized how beautiful our country was until covid when we had to stay here.

I love the slow days with my kids, evenings and weekends with my husband, and I'm learning to slow down and love life. I used love to be on the go all the time, now I like to watch my chickens and play with the dog with the hose. It's crazy how much life changes as you get older.

One last thing about me, I love being outside in nature. I love sailing, hiking, sitting and reading, pretty much anything outdoors. I've recently gotten into exploring new places around Columbus and showing our kids new things.

Five graduating cousins!!

Now when I tell you our family is huge, I mean it. Our Christmas gatherings usually have between 60-70 people!

In 2006/2007, there were 5 babies born, all of which graduated this year. It was so special to have all five together to take some graduation photos!

Five different schools, five different personalities, five great kids! ❤️

Ally's last solo senior session, her cap and gown session.

We chose to do these photos at a special location, a family farm. For those who don't know, Ally is my cousin. We grew up going to our grandma's farm for every occasion, even sometimes just randomly. This farm means a lot to all of us. What better location to capture a big event in your life than a location that is special to you?

A huge congratulations to Ally for kicking butt in high school and I know she's going to do great on her nursing journey!

I mostly focus on senior pictures now but it is always fun to take other types of pictures here and there!

This was one of my first photoshoots this spring. It had been nicer, warm weather for about a week leading up to this session. Then, of course, the day of the session the temperature dropped and it had rained overnight. But we turned the session around with a random puddle reflection photo.

It's always fun to find different things around to make a session unique!

Last fall photo post from 2024. I'm just a little behind but it's okay! 🤣

Photos from Megan's session. She is super sweet. We worked together to pick poses and work with the wind to make her feel her best. Which is important to me. If we're at a session and you don't like a photo, tell me so we can tweak it or scrap it.

Btw, I absolutely love taking senior pictures with cars. I've always loved cars and now being married to a car guy and being around it even more, it's been fun. When Megan told me she wanted to bring the '57, I was ecstatic. Then with the sun.... the pictures turned out stunning! 😍

PERSONAL POST:

I had our precious baby boy on June 30th, 2025. He is adorable and a great baby. We are all still adjusting to being a family of four but we are all loving our new addition. 🥰

I have two more weeks off before I get back to photoshoots so I'm going to continue snuggling my little man and figuring out how to handle two kids.

I'm finally getting around to sharing some more of Ally's Fall Senior Session.

We took these at her high school because they have a gorgeous nature area behind the football field, and we could use the field for her cheerleading pictures. Win win!

For her first session with me, she brought her boyfriend too, which helped her be more comfortable in front of the camera.

Ally is awesome and you'll be seeing more of her recent sessions soon. 😁

I've been going through old images for my sister and came across a lot of old videos that I had filmed but never posted. So I'm going to start sharing them.

Here's a video explaining one of my products, the canvas! Made in Ohio, breathable to prevent mold and increase longevity, and simple. They're great if you have one special favorite from the session or just want a stand out piece for your living room.

This is an extra special photoshoot for me, my not-so baby brother. Nathaniel is the last sibling that I watched grow up before I moved out.
Nate is fantastic. He's always been so strong, mentally and physically. He's a beast, he's like 6' 4" and still growing so I quite literally look up to him. I come up to his chest and look like a child next to him. 😂
He has the biggest heart, even though he acts like he doesn't care. He can do anything when he puts his mind to it. I have loved watching him mature this last year or so and I'm very excited to keep seeing what he achieves.
Keep kicking butt, Nathaniel.
