Time spent with exceptional humans truly makes my heart flutter.

Yesterday the ever so lovely and I met for event.

The hugs from familiar faces, and smiles from new faces, kept my heart full all day.

what started out as a family session between strangers, blossomed into the most magical friendship.

It was a cold (like really f’ing cold) winter session back in 2019 when we fell in love. We clicked with all 7 of them (pups included) immediately. As soon as we arrived home and warmed up our tootsies, we looked at each other with the same thought…

“when are these two cuties getting married?! they are SO meant for one another!”

and then another thought crossed our minds…

“we really hope we can be there with them when this day comes” (because we knew it would) and then bam, just like that, after a few brewery dates, dinner + game nights together, these two asked us the question we had been dying to hear.

fast forward to August 26th 2021, the day we humbly photographed and witnessed their marriage 🤍 (and yes, happy tears were shed)

when we have connections in this life, we truly have everything we need.

Brandi wanted green + floral backgrounds that represented where she came from and what she worked so hard to achieve. ⁠

she knew she wanted CSU Oval because it’s where she graduated, and started her passion-filled career in real estate. ⁠
⁠
with her vision in mind we found those green arches and added this spot to her session. ⁠
⁠
we’ll ALWAYS help find those spots that scream you, so that you can focus on being the adorable badass that your clients know, and love you to be.

I know that we're takin' chances, you told me life was a risk. I just have one last question...⁠

Our love for traveling is deep. Give us food, convos w/ locals, atmosphere.. we love it ALL! But coming home is what makes us feel the luckiest.⁠

Whenever we fly home, we spend the flight reminiscing on how crazy our life is. ⁠
⁠
Like how we ate some of the best cookies ever () because of a recommendation from a local. 🍪⁠

+ photographing another gorgeous home. ⁠

How we traveled safely thanks to - through their outages/delays they welcomed us home with a big smile (+ extra snack mix 😉)⁠

For us, home is the safe place where we feel the most loved. It’s the familiar pillow and the meows of our babes. ⁠
⁠
No matter how far we travel, we’ll always end up here. Coming home reminds us how amazing life is - it’s one of the most beautiful things.⁠
