I am so glad we could bring the whole family together, I know some of you only see each other once a year and this is what you guys do when you get together! I promise I am going to make the best of this reunion you guys have! I am a devoted photographer! I see my images before they’re even created! I am open minded with my models, if you have an idea please bring it to my attention tell me what you want me to do for you! This is your photo session these are your photos! If you don’t connect with your photographer, you have the wrong person! If your photographer doesn’t connect with you on a personal level if they don’t help you get through your wedding day, if you they can’t make you laugh, if they can’t cry with you over that special moment get a new photographer! Your photographer should feel the same way you do about your special moments that is how we capture the little memories! We capture emotions, we capture memories! I have 7 years of photographing experience, I have photographed on the side since I was 10! I photographed for a hospital I photographed newborn babies, I have plenty of experience with photographing from newborns. I have won to many to count contests all over! There’s something about finally stepping into a place you’ve admired for so long.

I was finally able to photograph inside the historical train station here in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

I’ve always had a thing for architecture. The way every line, curve, and texture tells a story… how could you not be drawn to that?

But what I love most is when you choose a location like this for your session, you’re not just getting photos… you’re stepping into something that already holds so much character. And you get to become part of that story.

Hi, I’m Stephanie Bosworth the photographer and heart behind Emerald Photography.

While Emerald Photography is entering its third year, photography has been part of my life for over twelve years. I’ve been photographing everything since high school, friends, family, details, and moments long before I knew photography would become my calling. What began as curiosity slowly grew into purpose.

Anyone who knows me knows I adore my two fur babies, value time with my family, and pour my heart into this business. My approach is relaxed and guided, offering gentle direction when needed and space for people to simply be themselves. I know how uncomfortable being in front of a camera can feel, which is why I prioritize creating an experience that feels calm, easy, and genuine.

Faith is the foundation of my work. It guides how I serve others and reminds me that every story, even the quiet ones have meaning. I’m deeply grateful for the trust clients place in me and never take that responsibility lightly.

Clients often describe sessions as comfortable and natural, especially during emotional moments like weddings. Families feel seen rather than staged. Couples leave saying, “That was easier than we expected.” Because the experience matters just as much as the final gallery.

What started as curiosity slowly became something much bigger, a calling.
