Do you ever wonder what you should wear to a photography session? Lot's of people do! Here are some tips for dressing for photos:

1: You want to coordinate, but not necessarily match exactly.

2: Colors like black, white, mustard, blue (all earth tone colors really) look great in pictures.

3: Want to steer clear of large logo wear or large prints (they detract from the focus of the photos, you!)

4: Wear something you are comfortable in whether you choose to dress up or go casual. This is not the day to try wearing those new heels you bought!

5: Lastly, bring your smile! Don't worry about looking perfect. Life is anything but that and your best pictures will be the ones where you are happy and having fun!

I'm Cathleen Williams and I am a connection orientated photographer located in Northern Colorado. I enjoy capturing real, authentic moments in my photography sessions and have a soft spot for mother/child pictures in particular. I know how hard it is to have photographs with your children. We (as moms) are so often the ones behind the camera.

A little bit about me...I am a wife, mom, coffee addict, flower loving, east coast girl originally from Pennsylvania. I enjoy reading, gardening, crocheting, and watching reruns of Fixer Upper. My two little girls bring me so much joy and they enjoy helping mom garden in particular.
