Two weeks ago I stopped by Second Gear in Asheville, NC for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful without being pushy, which I always appreciate. Their prices were very competitive compared to other outdoor outfitters I’ve visited, especially for quality gear.

I ended up picking up a new hat while I was there, and I’ve been wearing it nonstop since. It fits perfectly, feels incredibly comfortable, and it’s so lightweight you almost forget you have it on. I’ve already had it out on a few shoots, and it dries super quickly when wet, which is a huge plus when you’re outdoors as much as I am.

Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the Asheville area. Great people and solid gear.

“Main Street Nostalgia, Jackson Theatre, Jonesborough TN”

There’s something timeless about small town landmarks, and the Jackson Theatre in Jonesborough, TN is no exception. Framed by vintage brick and a deep southern sky, this shot captures the charm of Tennessee’s oldest town in a single frame.

I’m always chasing places that tell a story, and this one? It tells it loud and proud in neon.
