One year ago today I had the blessed opportunity to be a part of a wedding that was not only beautiful, but truly was a story of hope..I got a call last minute to photograph a wedding as the original photographer could not make it due to the weather. I was waiting in the church and saw The Father of the Bride walk in and immediately knew something was wrong...he was nearly in tears....he began to tell his story because it was clear he was in disarray and those in the hall began to ask if he was Ok. I had lost my father almost one year prior....I had to walk outside...cry and cry more....He made it for his daughter....he not only made it...he showed up and made sure she never knew the "mountains" he crossed to be there for her until the reception....it is a true representation of a Fathers love....I just want to reflect on this because not all of us have fathers on this earth but we do have a "Father" and this wedding reminded me of that. Please help me congratulate Mikie and Adrianna on their marriage. Honestly, these two were clearly made for one another, and their vows…..there wasn’t a dry eye there including mine! It is such a blessing to be a part of such beautiful moments in peoples lives. Thank you for allowing me to be the person who captured where your story began and where your families legacy’s continue through the both of you. Wishing you all the love, joy and happiness life can give ❤️
