Are you coastal or vineyard? Maybe both? Deciding on a location can be stressful especially if you feel like you’ve done them all! Luckily, we are no where near a shortage of beautiful locations around here. I have two suggestions when thinking of where to do photos:

1. Pick a place that feels more like you. Maybe it’s your backyard garden or even the redwoods. Maybe it’s a beautiful street you walk down daily or even a place that brings fond memories.

2. Choose a location that flatters your walls!! Think of where these photos will be displayed, maybe you simply want a clean studio backdrop, or the muted colors of the coast.

Of course your most important choice is who you work with to take those memorable photos 😉 PM me for availability, I only have a few more weekends available before December!

I gravitate towards black and white, to me if feels timeless and nostalgic when I think about developing all my own film in college but a good contrast in color especially when the coast is your backdrop is a very close second. I’m curious what you tend to frame and display? Also, how cute is this little fam? 🥰

Highlights from T + A wedding!

There was so much to love about this beautiful wedding in the redwoods: The brides handmade dress, the relaxed atmosphere, the way friends and relatives were honored and cherished but my favorite thing was how time almost stood still just for the bride and groom. They took time to revisit their vows in private before joining the rest of the party and at that moment nothing else mattered, the guests, the photographer, the schedule of events… it easily became my favorite moment of the day and one that I would highly recommend for any future bride.
