These photos Modern Moments | Oklahoma Wedding Photo + Video captured of me with Kona and 2 Bucks I will cherish forever. She came out and captured these of me in element and I put my spin of editing on them this past April. I rode for the Brownlee’s all through college and now I’m back riding Kona. 2 Bucks is now retired and I love getting to see him every week. He was always my favorite to ride.

30 days till my Into the Wild | Capturing Untamed Beauty Photography Retreat in Colorado. Honestly, can’t believe I’m even writing this. I’ve been dreaming of this for 2 years after I helped one of my dear friends with hers. She did a good job of talking me into doing my own 😃 Last year I decided 2026 is the time. I’ve been planning this for 11 months and everything is coming together.

I have 5 very talented women joining me, my dear friend helping me (I’m so happy she can come), and 3 amazing model couples. We have 2 mountain elopement styled shoots and a western styled engagement shoot with horses and a SURPRISE!

I can’t wait to take the ladies wildlife/moose hunting with our cameras, ride horses, hike, hang out at the cabin, and capture beautiful photos.

Putting all of this together was a lot of hard work. Lots of researching, scouting, deciding on outfits, looking for the perfect cabin, questionaries, the itinerary, scheduling, and praying people signed up - and they did! 🙏🏼

I’m looking forward to seeing how everything comes together and the photographs we create. We have so many talented people collaborating together.

Now I’m just counting down the days! 🏔️ 📸

Happy World Elephant Day! 🌎🐘

Today, we’re celebrating these incredible animals and shining a light on the importance of protecting elephants and the wild places they call home. Asian elephants face threats including habitat loss and human-elephant conflict, making conservation efforts in the wild more important than ever.

At Tulsa Zoo, our commitment to elephants extends beyond the seven Asian elephants who call our zoo home. We’ve contributed more than $134,000 to Asian elephant conservation since 1997 and have taken the lead on an Asian elephant conservation project in partnership with the International Elephant Foundation.

One focus of this work is supporting Conservation Response Units in Sumatra, which help protect Sumatran elephants and the habitats they share with other threatened species, including Sumatran tigers, Sumatran rhinos, orangutans and pangolins. These teams bring together trained elephants, their mahouts and local communities to address human-elephant conflict, protect important habitat and develop solutions that benefit both elephants and people. 🌿🐘

Our elephants at Tulsa Zoo are incredible ambassadors for their wild counterparts, and we're proud to support conservation efforts that help create a safer future for elephants in the wild.

Let me introduce to you my Mountain Mom - Wendy! 11 years ago when I decided to move to CO and attempt being a ski instructor. I was introduced to her by a co-worker in our ski group. I was desperately trying to find a place for Hunter (my German shepherd) and I to live. We talked over email and then had several phone calls. It seemed to be the perfect place. We just prayed Ozzy (pictured) and Hunter would get along. Our prayers were answered - Ozzy & Hunter became the best of friends and we did too! We lived with her for the ski season and then i came back to OK. I cried for almost 2 hours coming back. It was an extremely hard decision. But I had been dating my now husband long distance and knew that it was the right decision because I had a feeling he’s the one. Wendy’s property (Whispering Horse Sanctuary) is also where Jeff and I got married ( there’s a couple pics of the labyrinth ). It’s a very special place.

When making this decision to move 11 years ago. I was scared but hopeful. I kept trusting the process, God/universe it would work out. I never imagined in the process I’d meet someone like Wendy and become my family.

She is an amazing person and a jack of all trades. She loves animals with all her heart, loves her family, and is an amazing friend. Also, if you need any leather items. She does custom leather works! You can check out her page Cowgirl Custom Leather Works
