This little guy wasn’t too sure about photos when we first started. But give a toddler five minutes, a pile of leaves, and permission to just play… and everything changes.

Before long, we were chasing leaves, tossing them in the air, and laughing until those grumpy faces turned into the best giggles. We ended up with the kind of moments that remind you why fall sessions are pure magic.

Would you believe it was 110 degrees this day? I’m so happy to be headed into colder weather! Despite the heat, I absolutely loved working with Kaylee. Such a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful soul. Add some flowers and a donkey, and it was pure perfection.
We finished the second half of her session in Downtown Louisville. More of that to come soon!

Finally the perfect weather showed up after a summer of nonstop rain and unbearable heat, just in time for Carly’s senior session. This Silver Creek class of 2026 senior was such a natural in front of the camera and made my job easy. I loved every minute of working with her. Honestly there were way too many favorites and choosing just a few to share was impossible, so you already know I’ll be sharing more later.

Watching these two get ready to welcome their first baby… there’s just nothing like it.
The excitement. The nerves. The way they already look at each other like they’ve met their whole world.

It brought back all the feelings — especially now, as I get ready to launch my own baby into adulthood. (18... how?!)

Capturing these moments matters. Because one day they’ll blink, and that tiny baby will be taller than them, driving off to chase big dreams.

But for now… it’s all belly kicks and baby names and wondering who they’ll look like. And that? That’s magic.

Little Ro is 6 months old!
He’s sitting up, and before long, he’ll be crawling!

When my boys were little, people would always tell me, “These days go by so fast. They’ll be grown before you know it.” But between being up all night, the tantrums, and just trying to keep them alive, I couldn’t comprehend a time when my life wouldn’t revolve around Hot Wheels and fart jokes.

But now, my baby is a senior this year—and while the days were long, the years were short.

So in the chaos, don’t forget to slow down and enjoy the little moments. Celebrate all the firsts.
