🚨A LITTLE CHANGE HERE AT BRITTANY BUSBEE PHOTOGRAPHY 🚨
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about photography, social media, privacy, and especially how quickly AI & technology are changing. After really sitting with it, I’ve decided to make a change that I feel is the right thing for me & for the families who trust me with their most precious memories.
Going forward, I will no longer be publicly sharing identifiable photos of children on my photography page. This wasn’t a decision I made overnight. I absolutely love sharing the beautiful families I get to photograph. I love showing off those sweet smiles, personalities, and little moments that make each session special! The more I think about what happens once we put an image on the internet, the more I realized that I just don’t feel comfortable taking that chance with someone else’s child.
Once a photo is online, we really don’t know who saves it, where it goes, or what technology may eventually be able to do with it. As a mom & as a photographer, that matters to me.
I want the families who choose Brittany Busbee Photography to know that I’m not only here to take beautiful pictures — I care about the people in those pictures, too.
This change is ONLY about what I share publicly.
🤍 Your client galleries are NOT changing.
You will still receive your full gallery. You will still have all of your beautiful images, including the identifiable photos of your children. Your memories are still yours, and I will continue to capture them just as I always have.
The difference is simply that I’ll be much more selective about which images I put out for the entire internet to see. I know this may mean my page looks a little different. I may have fewer photos to post.
I may have to get more creative with how I share my work. My reach may change. But honestly, I’m okay with that. I would rather build my business a little differently than ever feel like I put a child’s privacy ahead of growing my business.
I’ll still be there to capture the giggles, the messy hair, the missing teeth, the big personalities, the tiny details, the family hugs, and all of those moments you’ll wish you could freeze in time. Those memories are still going to be captured and cherished. I’m just choosing to keep more of them where I believe they belong — with you and your family.🤍
